Terms & Conditions I. Thank you! i. Purpose

Thank you for taking interest in and using our service. To offer users the best version of our service, there are certain rights, roles & responsibilities, conditions, etc. that users should be aware of.

ii. Effectiveness & Changes of Terms & Conditions

1. The Terms & Conditions can be found on our Index Page of our website, service, and other communication methods Glosign engages in. The Terms & Conditions take immediate effect upon receiving users’ consent.

2. If required, Glosign can modify the Terms & Conditions within the legal boundaries of the pertinent Act. If any changes are made, we will notify the users of the update on our official Notice Page 7 days prior to the changes taking effect. If the changes work to the disadvantage of the users, we will send out a notice via email, SMS, messenger, platform notifications, or other practical means 15 days prior to them taking effect.

3. The user must express any concerns or feedback within the 7 days of the notice to Glosign. Otherwise, we will take it that the user is consenting to the changes made. If the user does not give consent to the updates, he/she can cancel subscription of the service as stated in 13-1 of our Terms & conditions.

iii. Other Directives

Regarding the topics that are not touched upon in the Terms & Conditions, company regulations that Glosign has independently set will apply. Upon any collision of the Terms & Conditions and Glosign regulations, the latter will override in importance of the prior.

II. Glosign Account iv. Rejection & Pending of Registration Process

1. Glosign can reject a user’s registration if:
- the account has been deleted by the company for violating Terms & Conditions
- the user is using someone else’s personal information (identity, email, etc.) to register
- the user has failed to enter required fields or is using false information to register
- the user has been violating Glosign’s designated regulations or the respective legislation that encompasses the following misconduct

2. If any of the above apply, we can immediately take the following course of actions: cancel one’s subscription, delete one’s account, etc.

3. Registration may pend if:
- there is no available installed capacity for the service provided
- there seems to be technical errors in the service provided
- the company is in need of financial or technical improvements

v. Management of Accounts, etc.

1. A user can only use one’s own account and the use of that of another is prohibited. Further, the user must safekeep one’s PW so that others cannot access without permission. We try to prevent such unauthorized use of the account by enforcing extensive verification steps for their accounts. If you spot any of the aforementioned occurrences, please notify our team right away to receive a thorough guide to resolving this issue.

2. Users can view and edit personal information on the Settings Page. However, a selective few (i.e.: email, phone number, self-verification information, etc.) may not be open to edits or require additional verification steps to do so. Ergo, to make any changes to the information you’ve provided upon registration, visit Settings or notify CS via the Support Center Page or email.

3. Glosign will not be held responsible for any disadvantages that users may encounter for not updating/modifying their information.

III. Payment Plan vi. Subscribing to Other Services

1. Glosign provides a comprehensive plan for creating and managing contract processes (i.e.: eSignature, contracts, translation service, etc.). Users can use the service by accessing the webpage.

2. We will provide software updates to offer users a better service. Important function implementation, removal of futile ones, etc. are part of the software updates.

3. We can directly send out emails to users or upload announcements on our website regarding notices, messages, advertisements, etc. pertinent to service usage in order to better our services.

4. Please feel free to contact our customer service team if you encounter any systematical errors, etc. whilst using our services.

5. Please be aware that if a user uses our service while connected to one’s own registered internet, not WIFI, the internet service provider will charge additional costs. The user is held accountable for any additional charges that occur while using the service. For further information regarding the data charges, please contact your internet service provider.

vii. Service Manual & Precautions

1. Users can freely use our service, but must not exploit it in ways listed below:
- if the user obstructs the service with malicious intentions or uses our service in ways that are not instructed by Glosign
- if the user collects, uses, or offers another user’s information to others, spreads false information regarding our service, violates our copyright policies, or engages in any form of violations prohibited by our Terms & Conditions, Glosign Policies, or legal system
- if the user copies, modifies, disseminates, sells, allows someone other than oneself unauthorized use of the service without our consent
- if the user tries to extract the source code or engages in any form of action that threatens the service

2. Users can’t hand over their right to the service to others and user our service as collateral of any kind.

3. If the users violate the policies, Glosign can rightfully investigate into the case, delete/temporarily delete the respective post(s), limit the probability of reregistration of the users, and permanently/temporarily put a stop to the accounts in use.

4. If there are no records of contact information of users in storage within Glosign’s data retention period, we can look up the email address, phone number, etc. users have signed up with to send notifications. After doing so, the information will be terminated immediately or saved in a separated storage space.

viii. Copyrights Policies

1. Intellectual property rights, including copyrights, for documents uploaded by customers will continue to be held by the right holders.

2. When a user uploads a post on Glosign, his/her post gives us the right to use, store, modify, duplicate, publicly distribute, etc. the post even after the user stops using our service.

3. Users must possess the rights necessary to license whichever contents that users create with our service. If any issues arise from not having the rights, users will be held responsible. In addition, customers may not disclose or post content that is obscene, violent, or otherwise a breach to public order and morals.

4. If the company determines that the users’ content violates the law or any of our mentioned policies, Glosign can and will delete or restrict the upload. However, being that the company is not obligated and is unable to review all uploads, we may overlook some content. Hence, it is indispensable that users be self-aware of any violations and understand their role in reporting the issue to our CS team.

5. There are cases in which contents that Glosign has no ownership over may appear whilst using the service. In this case, users must realize that it Glosign will not be held accountable for such and it is the source/content provider that will take responsibility. Thus, it is highly advised that users seek for the original creators’ consent prior to using their contents.

ix. Paid Service

1. We try to offer as many tools and functions that we can free of charge. However, there are certain areas that we request payment for service.

2. Users can make purchases for our Payment Plans via credit card payment, account transfer, and non-bankbook deposit, post-payment. Different plans may offer a less or more diversified option of payment.

3. The company may request additional personal information of the users to complete the purchase and during this process, it is important that the users provide accurate personal information.

4. The standard refund process is as follows. However, keep in mind that if the user fails to abide by the Terms & Conditions, we may restrict or delete the account and therefore not be required to refund the user.
-If the paid service provided by the company is a service in which the use or purchase of the service is completed with only one use after payment, a refund is not possible after using the service.
-If the Payment Plan has less than a month’s time remaining, we will refund the amount excluding the days service was in use from the cancellation date. This applies to the monthly subscription plans as well.
-If the Payment Plan goes beyond a month’s time and is of a subscription model, we will refund the amount excluding the days service was in use from the cancellation date & take 10% off of the total remaining days. However, if a cancellation is requested within 7 days from the purchase date of the Payment Plan, only the amount corresponding to the number of days used will be refunded.

5. Exceptions to the refund policies are as follows:
- When there is no history of using the service after the user has purchased the Payment Plan
- When service failure occurs due to an error on our side
- When the service user has purchased is no longer available
- When the service provided is different from what is advertised

6. Users can demand a refund. However, the demand must be filed within 7 days of the users’ awareness of the issue to make such request and within a month of the issue having been occurring.

7. In the case of an overcharge or a full refund, we will provide users the amount via the identical payment method (i.e.: card, etc.) as one used in the purchase. However, if such is not possible due to a mid-service termination, etc., refund will be processed following our company regulations. Glosign will issue a refund within 7 business days from the date of the request.

x. Use, Changes, & Termination of Service

1. Glosign may change all or areas of the service to better accommodate the operational and technical needs if the reason behind doing so is justified. Even if the service undergoes temporarily suspension, users will not be receiving compensation for the inconvenience experienced. loss suffered by the user.

2. When temporarily suspension is to happen, it will be for the following reasons: a check-up on the system, security enhancement, and other operational reasons.

xi. Service Termination

1. When a user no longer wants to use the service, he/she may request termination of the service whenever through our website. Our team will process the request promptly thereon.

2. Upon termination, all personal information of the user will be deleted after being held in storage for the retention period (see our Privacy Policies). However, as aforementioned, posts uploaded by the user, even if no longer a user, will remain.

3. The termination can only happen with the user’s request and our approval. Any refunds will be made adequately following the company’s regulations. However, be aware that there are exceptional situations for certain Payment Plans that do not abide by the policies stated in the Terms & Conditions.

4. Even after a user has successfully terminated his/her service, one can reregister for the service in the future. However, some services may be restricted for some time. Further details on the possible inconveniences one may experience can be found in Glosign’s Policies.

xii. Protection & Nondisclosure of Personal Information

1. Safekeeping our users’ personal information is a priority. The extent of and purpose for which the personal information is used are determined by the users. We do not in any situation disclose personal information to a third party unless consented or required by law.

2. Glosign will not disclose any confidential contents acquired during and after the service period without prior written consent of the party, except in cases in which we are legally obligated to disclose information (i.e.: request of a court).

IV. Others xiii. Compensations etc.

1. We do not make any guarantees that are not listed in the Terms & Conditions or beyond the legal boundaries. In addition, Glosign does not guarantee the reliability and accuracy of information, data, facts, etc. exchanged on the service platform by users and will not be held accountable for any damages that may occur.

2. We will compensate for damages in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and legal boundaries if users suffer damage due to our faultiness or negligence. We are not liable for indirect, extraordinary, consequential, disciplinary, and punitive damages that go beyond legal boundaries. Further, we are not responsible for the following damages listed below:
- Caused by natural disasters or equivalent force majeure
- Caused by fault on the user’s end
- Caused by reasons without uninvolving the malintent or negligence of the company
- Personal damage that is self-incurred during the contract process
- Caused by a third party illegally accessing or using the company's server
- Caused by a third party interfering with the transmission to or from the company server
- Caused by a third party transmitting or distributing malicious programs
- Personal damage that is incurred by the omission, destruction of data or defamation by a third party

xiv. Notices

We value active exchange and feedback from our users. Visit our Support Center to suggest, comment, etc. on any features of our service. We try our best to notify any updates or changes in the most practical and fair manner (i.e.: email/SMS/messenger & definitely the Notice Page).

xv. Dispute Resolution

The Terms and Conditions have been devised in accordance with the Korean law. Ergo, if any dispute arises between us and users, we will endeavor to resolve the dispute in a cordial and reasonable manner. Nevertheless, if the dispute fails to be resolved, the court will have jurisdiction over the issue and will be legally handled.
